How to add a new language to WebSuite using automated translation

Step 1: Open your website in WebSuite

What to do

1. Log in to WebSuite
2. Open the client project
3. Make sure you are in the main website (not a cloned language website)

This keeps your language setup connected to the main site.

Step 2: Go to the Translations app

What to do

1. Click Apps in the left menu
2. Click Translations

This is where you add and manage languages.

Step 3: Add the language

What to do

1. Click Add Language
2. Select the language you want from the list

Pick the exact language and region if you see multiple options.

Step 4: Choose automated translation (Google Gemini)

What to do

1. Under translation method, choose Automatic translation
2. Select the Google Gemini option (if it asks you)
3. Click Save or Add

Once saved, the language is added and the site starts translating your stuff.

Step 5: Test it on the live site

What to do

1. Open the website in a new tab
2. Use the language switcher to select the new language
3. Check the homepage, menu, and contact page

This confirms the translation is actually showing and not stuck.

Common issues

What to check

1. If you cannot see Apps > Translations, you might not have access, or you are in the wrong project
2. If some parts stay in English, refresh the page and check those blocks or widgets in the editor
3. If the switcher shows the language but the page does not change, confirm the language was saved in the Translations list

If anything feels off, it is usually a permissions thing, or a block that needs a quick update.
