Overview
The Customers module stores all client profiles, related contacts, documents, and transactions. Each customer entry represents a business or individual engaged with the company.
Creating and Managing Customers
- Open Customers → New Customer.
- Enter general details: company name, primary contact, email, phone, and billing address.
- Assign to a Customer Group if segmentation is needed.
- Save to create the profile.
- Use tabs inside the profile for invoices, files, notes, and projects.
Managing Contacts
- Inside a customer profile, open Contacts tab.
- Click Add Contact.
- Enter name, position, email, and phone.
- Toggle permissions for portal access, invoices, and tickets.
- Save.
Example: For corporate clients, create one main customer and multiple contact sub‑accounts for departments or staff.
Best Practice: Keep billing and project contacts distinct to simplify communication.
