Overview

The Customers module stores all client profiles, related contacts, documents, and transactions. Each customer entry represents a business or individual engaged with the company.

Creating and Managing Customers

  1. Open Customers → New Customer.
  2. Enter general details: company name, primary contact, email, phone, and billing address.
  3. Assign to a Customer Group if segmentation is needed.
  4. Save to create the profile.
  5. Use tabs inside the profile for invoices, files, notes, and projects.

Managing Contacts

  1. Inside a customer profile, open Contacts tab.
  2. Click Add Contact.
  3. Enter name, position, email, and phone.
  4. Toggle permissions for portal access, invoices, and tickets.
  5. Save.

Example: For corporate clients, create one main customer and multiple contact sub‑accounts for departments or staff.

Best Practice: Keep billing and project contacts distinct to simplify communication.
